(Mexico City/San Francisco, Calif.) - NDS Cognitive Labs (NDS) today announced the company’s record-setting 2021 company growth, enabled by partnerships with Clip (digital payment provider), major banks in Latin America, and global and US technology companies. The company also announced several key executive hires, and NDS CEO & Co-founder, Gustavo Parés was appointed President of the Global Information Technology Management Association (GITMA).

In 2021, NDS secured partnerships with a number of leading organizations in both Mexico and the US. In Latin America, the company began work with the innovative and leading fintech organization, Clip. NDS researched, developed, and implemented a virtual assistant for Clip, enabling the company to progress its mission of increasing financial inclusion across industry sectors.

“The past year has been full of historic opportunities for NDS Cognitive Labs to bring AI, cloud and digital transformation services to new industry sectors, from retail to banking to hospitality, and I am incredibly proud of the technical contributions of NDS has delivered amidst record demand for our services,” said Gustavo Parés, Co-founder & CEO of NDS Cognitive Labs. “We’re grateful for all of the hardworking and talented professionals that NDS works with as employees, partners, and customers as we strive to build a better technological future.”

In Mexico specifically, NDS created virtual assistants for two of the largest Mexican banks, helping them to digitally transform their services for millions of customers across the country.

The growth NDS has seen this year is largely attributed to the company’s intellectual property solutions, which include AI and Cloud implementation services, among many others, that make up 40% of the company’s revenue. One especially notable area is virtual assistant implementation, which saw 159% in growth in 2021 alone, and nearly 800% since 2017.

In its continued growth, NDS this year made key executive hires:

  • Rafael Pérez Coca, a seasoned sales and operations professional, joined NDS as Chief Operating Officer. Pérez held a number of leadership roles during his nearly 29 years at IBM Mexico, including the COO role for the company’s operations in Mexico.
